Scania has the lead in the development/research of the aerodynamic measures to be investigated in Aeroflex . The initial task is planning of the work package, which includes a detailed time plan for sub-tasks and deliveries and defining the baseline model and methodology for the tests and simulations. Scania has a long history of working with advanced numerical simulations in several fields of application, including computational fluid dynamics. To this end a wide range of state-of-the-art software is in use for aeroacoustics, aerodynamics and other fluid dynamics research.
