Below you will find the vehicle models that are used for developing and evaluating aerodynamic features.
The first one is a tractor semitrailer-combination with an extended front, the secone model is the corresponding EMS1-combination with a truck, dolly and semitrailer.
The models are based on CAD and CAE geometries provided by Scania, Van Eck and Volvo, and the final versions have been developed in co-operation by Creo Dynamics and Scania. The developed vehicle models will mainly be used in CFD simulations and wind tunnel testing within WP3, but will also be used for the safety investigations performed by WP5.
